Some travel protection plans include the financial default of a travel supplier as a covered reason for trip cancellation and trip interruption. This coverage may apply when a travel supplier – such as a tour operator, airline, or cruise line – included on our covered supplier list ceases all operations due to its financial condition, with or without filing for bankruptcy.
For losses to be covered in case of a travel supplier’s financial default, you must meet the conditions that are listed in your plan documents, and the travel supplier must have been included on Allianz Global Assistance’s list of Covered Suppliers on your plan’s effective date.
Click here to access our current list of Covered Suppliers. This is the complete list as of today and is subject to change at any time. However, such changes do not affect any coverage already in force. This list is not intended nor should be viewed as a judgment of any travel supplier.
All other terms and conditions apply; check your plan documents for details.
