Definition: When you encounter a challenging situation while traveling, Assistance can help resolve it. The Assistance team can assist with medical emergencies during your trip, making new travel arrangements, retrieving lost baggage, transferring funds from home, replacing lost or stolen travel documents, language translation/interpretation and more.

Example: You get a midnight call from your brother: Your mom is in the hospital in Phoenix, and she’s not doing well. You book the first flight you can find — and then, on the way to the airport, you get into a car accident. You’re unhurt, but you’re panicking. You’re going to miss your flight!
That’s when you contact our Assistance team. As soon as you explain what’s going on, your Assistance contact leaps into action. She sends a tow truck to pick up your car, then dispatches a taxi to take you to the airport. She changes your flight so you won’t miss the plane. She even arranges a shorter layover between flights, so you can reach your mom’s bedside sooner.
